Is it possible to remove the shunt action on an LK SmartComfort?
- Yes, by holding down the menu button and minus button for about 5 seconds, shunt action is turned off.
- To activate pump action, hold down the menu button and the plus button for about 5 seconds

I have an LK 550 AquaMix on which I have replaced the insert. I now have insufficient heat: is there anything I can do about this?
You can increase the maximum temperature. You can do this as follows:
- Turn the knob counterclockwise to (+).
- Loosen the screw and put the knob to one side.
- Then turn the knob in the "air" clockwise towards (–). This adjustment can be made incrementally, with a ¼ turn corresponding to approx. 7°C.
- Replace the knob and feel for when it grips the cog.
- Fasten the screw and then turn the knob to max (+). Maximum calibration to increase the temperature is a ½ turn

Why is my safety valve leaking?
Is it OK to have water coming out of the wastepipe? When water is heated, it expands and the increased volume needs to go somewhere, meaning that your safety valve will drip.

My mixing valve rotates in different directions: is there something wrong?
No, this is quite normal. The mixing valve will rotate randomly between ports A and B. Rotation takes place at an angle of 60°.

Presumably you are not receiving a signal from your room unit; check your connection.

What is the Kvs value?
Kvs is a measurement of a valve’s flow capacity, calculated as follows: Add a pressure drop of 1 bar to a valve and allow it to run for one hour. The accumulated flow through the valve in cubic metres is equal to the Kvs value. Cv is the US unit and states the flow in gallons per minute at a pressure drop of 1 psi. A factor of 1.16 is used to convert from Kv to Cv (1.16 x Kv = Cv).

Is it possible to upgrade LK 110 to LK 130 by purchasing and adding the indoor temperature controller? Or do I need to purchase the whole LK 130 set?
Yes it is possible to just add an indoor controller to your LK 110, and your SmartComfort will then have become a LK 130 instead.
