The valve is intended for use as vacuum breaker in domestic water systems.
Design
Valve body made of nickel-plated DZR-brass, EN 12165 CW602N. Noryl valve cone and EPDM o-rings.
Male pipe connector G½. The o-ring seal ensures simple fitting to other LKA valves.

Fitting / Installation
The vacuum breaker may be installed in any position, since its function is not
affected by the installation position. Avoid installing it at the low points of the system.
When connected to LK Armatur’s valve system for o-ring sealing, tighten first by hand until stop, then another 0.5-1.5 turns, with an appropriate tool into right position. When connected to other components, the thread should be sealed in the usual manner.
Operation and maintenance
The vacuum breaker requires no maintenance. The installation should be checked regularly.
In extreme cases it may occur that the valve does not close completely after working. This is caused by some form of solid contamination from the system (such as grains of sand or gravel) which has got into the valve seat.
The valve funktion can be restored as follows: Squeeze the protective hood by hand and fold it to one side. Very carefully press the valve which is now exposed, to allow the water pressure to flush briefly through the valve. Note! Consider the water leakage which occurs during this procedure.
